Victoria joined us as Head of Sustainable Investment in June 2020 and leads on stewardship and sustainable investment strategy. She was previously at Newton Investment Management as a responsible investment equity analyst, covering extractives, heavy industrials and autos, and leading on climate change, water stress and child labour themes. Before Newton, Victoria worked for Hermes Equity Ownership Services, the FTSE Group and CLA Investment Management. Externally, she co-chairs the Assessing Sovereign Climate-related Opportunities and Risks project (www.ascor.org), co-leads the climate change working group within the UK Occupational Pension Scheme Stewardship Council (OPSC), and sits on working groups within the Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance (NZAOA) and the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC). She has also previously sat on a number of investor-related advisory bodies including the Investment Association Climate Change Working Group, 30% Club Investor Group, UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association Analyst Committee, the QCA Corporate Governance Expert Group and the Science Based Targets Financial Institution Expert Advisory Group (SBTI).
